Census Bureau to Announce Findings for 2016 Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage and Supplemental Poverty Measure

What:

The U.S. Census Bureau will hold an online news conference to announce the findings from three reports: Income and Poverty in the United States: 2016, Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2016, and The Supplemental Poverty Measure: 2016.

The income and poverty report provides national-level statistics from the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement. The supplemental poverty measure report contains both national and state-level findings from the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement. The health insurance report presents both Current Population Survey and American Community Survey statistics and contains national and some state-level findings.

The presenters and other subject matter experts will take questions from the media following the completion of the presentation.
