Geographers from the U.S. Census Bureau, along with thousands of other geospatial professionals from across the globe, will present geospatial methodologies and innovations at the 2019 Esri User Conference, July 8-12, 2019, in San Diego, Ca. This year’s theme is “GIS-The Intelligent Nervous System."

This multiday conference is a forum for Census Bureau staffers to present and discuss their research on a spectrum of topics about geography, the 2020 Census, and American Community Survey (ACS) data including:

* Plenary presentation titled: The 2020 Census-Mobilizing Everyone

* Remote Sensing of Rural Populations: Lessons Learned

* Informing Census Outreach With ROAM

* Customizing ARCGIS to Enable Feature Update by Non-GIS Professionals
