Washington, D.C.- House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul released a statement following the Taliban’s release of two American hostages.
“I am relieved the Taliban has released two American hostages and that they can be reunited with their friends and loved ones. The Biden administration and international community must hold the Taliban accountable for taking American hostages and their many other nefarious actions."
