Today, Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) hosted a roundtable to discuss the consequences of the Biden administration’s student loan agenda for borrowers, taxpayers, and servicers.
Following the meeting, Chairwoman Foxx said: “The Biden administration’s student loan repayment moratorium and executive actions have created unnecessary confusion for borrowers and stakeholders. The Department’s failure to work with its partners is doing a disservice to the borrowers they claim to help, and the longer this continues the greater the risk that this radical agenda will result in a complete collapse of our postsecondary financing system."
