Kevin G. Ritz will be formally installed as the 51st United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee. Nominated by President Joe Biden on July 29, 2022, Ritz was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate on Sept. 22, 2022. As the United States Attorney, Ritz is the chief federal law enforcement officer in West Tennessee. The Honorable S. Thomas Anderson, United States District Judge, for the Western District of Tennessee will convene the Investiture. Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta will be among those providing remarks.
