Summary: The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) provided the US Patent Office with data on the length of APHIS’s review period for a specific vaccine. The makers of the Porcine Circovirus Vaccine, Type 1-Type 2 Chimera, Killed Virus, Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Bacterin are requesting a patent extension. Information about the length of the review period is needed for the Patent Office to calculate the length of a potential patent extension.
