These guidelines, says the article, show how these entities evaluate mergers and acquisitions to ensure compliance with antitrust regulations. The objective of the update is to align the guidelines with the current state of the economy. The article states that both organizations are encouraging the public to review the revised guidelines and share their opinions during a 60-day period of public commentary.
