What is your book about?

I went over to Hungary and spent about three months there last year. I went to do research about Hungarian national sovereignty, because Hungary has made this huge splash on the world stage for digging their heels in against the [U.S.] and European Union.
Hungary overcame communism–the Soviet Union occupied them [until] 1991. Since then they have succeeded in building a constitutional, prosperous, successful nation. Prime Minister Viktor Orban was just reelected for the fourth time in a landslide victory. The majority of the country [is] Catholic. It's actually even written into their constitution. They've been a Christian Western European country for 1100 years.
To hear the Hungarians, in America we're going to lose our freedoms if we keep entertaining Marxism that has infiltrated into our country.

How is our border policy similar to what they are dealing with in Hungary?

In the early 2010’s, during the Arab uprising Europe, was seeing this mass influx of migration. Mainly because Germany said, “hey, our borders are open.” We're seeing the same thing. Hungary is one of the countries where people are entering Europe to get to other countries.
They tried to take these people, register them, and send them through. You have to understand, Hungary is a country of 10 million people. By the early part of 2015, I think 40,000 people had come through Hungary in the first month. By September of that year, they were registering 400,000. They declared a state of emergency and said to the EU, we cannot do this. We won't do it anymore. They started to erect fences. They've put policies in place to keep people below the border.
I think the Biden Administration could learn from this because it's pretty darn simple. I have been down to our border for weeks at a time interviewing ranchers and law enforcement about what's going on.

Where does our border policy go wrong?

The Biden Administration's narrative is that our immigration system is humane, orderly and safe. Well, let me tell you, Counterpoint Institute is one of the organizations that uncovered the fact about a year and a half ago that a record number of illegal immigrants are dying while crossing our border, because they have to collaborate with the cartels. They're exhausted. The cartels sometimes just leave them.
Once they get across the border, the cartels don't care about them. Record numbers are dying, but the Administration was telling the CBP to suppress those numbers. I could tell you stories that would make you cry.
Border Patrol told me stories about finding women that had been raped and shot by the cartels. Our Border Patrol are bearing the emotional stress and burden of this as well. It is not humane, orderly, safe, or legal immigration.

Why do people say the Hungarian government is authoritarian?

You can just go to Hungary and read their constitution, walk around, and see how their people are free. I saw gay couples there. Nobody cares that they're gay there.
In my book “Last Warning to the West” I have eleven points written in 1959 by our Department of Defense to teach security experts about the psychological warfare of communism. Every one of them applies to us today. One of those is to take control of the narrative, use the narrative for your own propaganda, to twist it.
