WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves met with Liechtenstein Deputy Prime Minister Sabine Monauni to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

"During the meeting, the Deputy Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister talked about the U.S.-Liechtenstein commercial relationship and opportunities to deepen trade and investment ties."

In addition to this, "the two also discussed a recently established memorandum of understanding that will deepen bilateral cooperation between our countries to promote professional apprenticeships."

"The meeting concluded with a conversation reflecting on their government’s respective supply chain resiliency efforts." Deputy Secretary Graves highlighted the Department of Commerce's initiatives in this area, stating, "in 2023, the Department launched a first-of-its-kind Supply Chain Center that serves as an analytic engine to help drive the Department of Commerce’s decision-making and policy action on efforts to strengthen supply chain resilience."

Furthermore, "Deputy Secretary Graves welcomed Liechtenstein’s participation in the 10th SelectUSA Investment Summit, which will take place June 23-26 in the Washington, D.C. area."

The meeting between Deputy Secretary Graves and Deputy Prime Minister Monauni showcased a commitment to enhancing economic cooperation and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships between the United States and Liechtenstein.
