The family's open letter highlighted concerns about the treatment of Chang Hao throughout the legal process. It stated, "We are 'nobody' from the rural mountainous area, seeking help and appeal from judicial authorities to protect Chang Hao's legal rights and ensure a fair trial."
Chang Hao's arrest on suspicion of "picking quarrels and provoking trouble" has been met with staunch opposition from both him and his defense lawyers.
