On May 6, Secretary Blinken will attend the RSA Conference in San Francisco, where he will interact with technology industry stakeholders. Additionally, he will engage with emerging technology experts in areas such as biotechnology and quantum information science and technology. During his time at the conference, Blinken will elaborate on the United States' efforts to promote a more inclusive, secure, and rights-respecting world through advancements in key technology sectors like cyberspace, digitalization, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and biotechnology.

Transitioning from the RSA Conference, Secretary Blinken will lead the U.S. delegation to the third Ministerial meeting of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection in Guatemala on May 7. In Guatemala, Blinken intends to highlight the progress achieved in the past two years and outline future collaborative strategies to enhance humane migration management, reinforce enforcement measures, establish lawful migration pathways, and improve refugee and migrant integration within the Americas.
