Arlington, Va. – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today commended the Senate Appropriations Committee for a successful markup of the Fiscal Year 2025 Defense appropriations legislation.

“AIA welcomes progress towards enacting full-year, on-time, and adequate appropriations that will strengthen the bedrock of our nation: our national security,” Fanning said. “We are especially pleased to see the committee prioritize aviation and space modernization, as well as investments in the defense industrial base.
