On August 15, Netflix and Google announced a partnership to coincide with the premiere of "Emily in Paris" Season 4. This collaboration was celebrated with an event at Los Angeles' Egyptian Theatre, featuring a screening of the first three episodes, a demo of the new "Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris" video game, exclusive photo opportunities, giveaways, and other surprises.
Attendees had the chance to view iconic costumes from the series and explore recreated sets such as the Savoir office and Gabriel’s restaurant L’Esprit de Gigi. Fans could also participate in a Google Lens-based contest for a trip to Paris.
For Netflix's ad plan members, new custom features enhance the viewing experience:
- Pause Ad: Allows users to scan images on their screen using Google Lens to find similar items for purchase.
- Commercials: Customized spots integrating "Emily in Paris" with Google Shopping.
- Title Sponsorship: Google is the title sponsor for Season 4 and sponsored previous seasons as well.
Further insights into Emily's wardrobe can be found on Tudum, including details from costume designer Marylin Fitoussi. The new season is available on Netflix along with an interactive video game where players can experience life in Paris like Emily.
