The full cast for Jo Nesbø’s "Harry Hole" series has been announced, joining previously revealed leads Tobias Santelmann, Joel Kinnaman, and Pia Tjelta. The series, directed by Anna Zackrisson, will feature a star-studded ensemble.
Among the newly confirmed cast members are Peter Stormare, Anders Baasmo, Kåre Conradi, Simon J. Berger, Fridtjov Såheim, Eili Harboe, Atle Antonsen, Manish Sharma, Henriette Steenstrup, Jesper Christensen, Kristoffer Joner, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Linn Skåber, Jonas Strand Gravli, Sonny Lindberg, Agnes Kittelsen, Nader Khademi, Ellen Helinder, Agot Sendstad, Maja Christiansen, Frank Kjosås, Kelly Gale, Oddgeir Thune, Ravdeep Singh Bajwa, Henrik Mestad, Ingar Helge Gimle and Helge Jordal. Eirik Hallert is also part of the lineup.
"Jo Nesbø’s Harry Hole," known outside the Nordics as "Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole," is a crime fiction series centered on the character Harry Hole. It is described as a nuanced character drama about two police officers working on opposite sides of the law. The first season follows Harry as he confronts his adversary Tom Waaler while attempting to catch a serial killer.
The series will be directed by Øystein Karlsen and Anna Zackrisson with Jo Nesbø serving as creator and screenwriter. Tor Arne Øvrebø will produce the show alongside executive producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner from Working Title Television. Universal International Studios is producing the series set to release in 2026 with nine episodes.
