The United States has announced a new military assistance package for Ukraine valued at $375 million. This aid comes as Ukraine continues to defend itself against ongoing attacks from Russia.

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken confirmed the provision of this additional support under Presidential Drawdown Authority from Department of Defense stocks. The package includes munitions and support for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, cluster munitions, armored vehicles such as Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) and light tactical vehicles, patrol boats, small arms, and anti-armor capabilities including Javelin missiles, TOW missiles, and AT-4 rockets. Additionally, it covers spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training, and transportation.

"The United States is committed to Ukraine’s defense against Russia’s brutal aggression," stated Blinken. "We will deploy this new assistance as quickly as possible to help Ukraine protect its territory and its people." He further emphasized that President Biden has reiterated the United States' dedication to standing with Ukraine alongside an international coalition.

This move highlights continued U.S. support for Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.
