U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo is set to visit Rome, Italy, from October 10-11 for the G7 Industry and Technological Innovation Ministerial. The meeting will gather government leaders from Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union to address economic challenges faced by G7 nations.

During the ministerial event, Raimondo plans to discuss advancements in technologies such as semiconductors and artificial intelligence with other G7 leaders. The discussions aim to enhance collaboration for stronger economies, increased supply chain resilience, and equitable economic growth.

In addition to participating in the ministerial discussions, Secretary Raimondo will meet with Italian officials and business leaders in Rome. These meetings are intended to further strengthen the bilateral commercial relationship between the United States and Italy.
