"She will emphasize continued partnership on anti-corruption and rule of law reforms," according to the press release. The focus will also be on maintaining a strong civil society and independent media while advancing justice for victims in Ukraine.
In Poland, Under Secretary Zeya plans to meet Ukrainian refugees who have fled due to Russia's ongoing conflict with Ukraine. She will engage with humanitarian partners providing aid and visit a coordination center focused on support for Ukraine.
The final leg of her trip takes her to the United Kingdom. There she aims to bolster U.S.-U.K. cooperation on global issues by meeting senior government officials and members of Parliament.
