The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has announced the promotion of Marta Hernandez to Vice President of Communications. Previously serving as the Senior Director of Communications, Hernandez's new role is effective immediately.

Eric Fanning, AIA’s President and CEO, expressed confidence in her abilities, stating, "Marta is one of the most effective communicators in Washington, advocating for our members, the industry, and AIA. Her strategy, instinct, and influence has been an instrumental piece of AIA’s footprint." He further added that her promotion is well-deserved and he looks forward to seeing her continued advocacy for their members.

Hernandez joined AIA in 2022. Prior to this position, she was a spokesperson for the Senate Armed Services Committee and served as Deputy Communications Director on the House Appropriations Committee.
