Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken is set to visit Italy and Vatican City from November 23 to 27. During his stay in Anagni and Fiuggi, Blinken will participate in the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting. The agenda includes discussions on conflicts in the Middle East, Russia's war against Ukraine, Indo-Pacific security, and ongoing crises in Haiti and Sudan.
After the G7 meeting, Secretary Blinken will proceed to Vatican City. There he will meet with Pope Francis, Cardinal Parolin, and Cardinal Gallagher. The discussions are expected to cover international concerns such as the Middle East situation and Russia's actions in Ukraine.
