Verma are set to speak at the “Partnerships in Action: Honoring Our Commitment to Afghan Allies” reception. This event aims to acknowledge the partnerships crucial in relocating and resettling Afghan allies. The remarks will emphasize the achievements these collaborations have brought about in supporting the Biden Administration’s Enduring Welcome program, which supports Afghan allies and their families.

The reception is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, December 2, at the U.S. Department of State. The event will be streamed live on both the Department's homepage and its YouTube channel.
