Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SAP SE have announced a new collaboration, GROW with SAP on AWS, at the AWS re:Invent event in Las Vegas. This initiative aims to simplify the deployment of SAP's enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for businesses of all sizes by leveraging AWS's cloud infrastructure. The partnership will enable customers to adopt SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition more quickly and unlock generative artificial intelligence innovations.

Ruba Borno, vice president of Specialists and Partners at AWS, stated, "For more than 16 years, we’ve worked to empower thousands of customers to transform their businesses through seamless integration of SAP solutions with AWS." Muhammad Alam from SAP SE added that the collaboration provides "a simplified path to deploy cloud ERP with powerful automation and insights via Joule embedded across our business applications."

The GROW with SAP solution will be available through AWS Marketplace, allowing customers to streamline operations and develop secure AI applications using Amazon Bedrock's foundation models. These capabilities are expected to enhance productivity and innovation for businesses adopting cloud ERP.

Steve Niesman from NTT DATA Business Solutions commented on the potential benefits, saying it will "unlock tremendous opportunities for us to accelerate widespread customer adoption of SAP cloud ERP infused with embedded business AI capabilities."

GROW with SAP on AWS is expected to be available soon through AWS Marketplace.
