A Boston man, Vincent Lambert, has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. The sentencing took place in federal court in Boston and was presided over by U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani. Following his prison term, Lambert will undergo five years of supervised release.

Lambert, aged 41, had previously pleaded guilty in June 2024 to three counts related to the distribution and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. His indictment by a federal grand jury occurred in June 2023.

The case against Lambert began in August 2022 when he was identified as a supplier of crystal meth in the Boston area by a cooperating source. This led to several transactions where Lambert distributed significant quantities of crystal meth: 24 grams on February 15, 2023, in Boston; 110 grams on March 2, 2023, in Cambridge; and another 83 grams on April 4, 2023, in Dorchester.

A substantial seizure took place on June 7, 2023, during a search of Lambert’s residence. Authorities confiscated over one kilogram of crystal meth along with various other substances including butanediol, fentanyl, ketamine, cocaine, and MDMA.

Lambert's criminal history includes multiple previous convictions for drug-related offenses. In West Roxbury District Court in 2017, he was sentenced to an 18-month prison term. Two years later, he received a one-year sentence from Cambridge District Court and subsequently served between three-and-a-half to five years following additional charges adjudicated by Suffolk Superior Court.

The announcement regarding Lambert's sentencing was made by Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy and Stephen Belleau, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration's New England Field Division. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Samuel R. Feldman from the Narcotics & Money Laundering Unit.
