A Littleton man has admitted guilt in a federal court in Boston regarding his role in a cocaine and illegal firearms trafficking conspiracy around the Boston area.
Alan Robinson, aged 26, confessed to one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, firearms trafficking, and knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. U.S. Senior District Court Judge William G. Young has set sentencing for April 15, 2025. Robinson was apprehended on November 3, 2023.
Robinson conducted a controlled sale with a cooperating witness involving four firearms, including two ghost guns, one being an assault rifle, fully aware that the buyer was prohibited from possessing firearms. Following this transaction, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Robinson’s home, discovering approximately 3.3 kilograms of powdered cocaine and several firearms and accessories including a ghost gun assault rifle.
The charge of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and fines reaching $250,000. The firearms trafficking charge could result in up to 15 years imprisonment, three years of supervised release, and similar fines. The charge related to possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking could lead to five years to life imprisonment, five years supervised release, and fines up to $250,000. Sentencing will be determined by the federal district court judge based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and applicable statutes.

Support was provided by the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke A. Goldworm from the Major Crimes Unit is handling the prosecution.
