WhatsApp has announced a series of new features aimed at enhancing user experience in 2025. These updates include the introduction of camera effects, allowing users to apply up to 30 backgrounds, filters, and effects when taking and sending photos or videos in chats.

The platform is also rolling out "selfie stickers," which enable users to transform their selfies into personalized stickers. This feature is currently available on Android devices and will soon be introduced for iOS users.

In addition, WhatsApp now allows users to share sticker packs directly within chats. Users can send a sticker pack they find interesting directly to friends, adding more convenience to the chat experience.

Another update includes quicker reactions; users can now double-tap messages to react swiftly and browse through their most-used reactions efficiently.
