Commerce transforms under Raimondo with $90B investment focusing on security, innovation

To curb military advancements from China (PRC), strategic controls were implemented while export controls impeded Russia’s military capabilities during its conflict with Ukraine.

Supply chain diversification efforts followed COVID-19 disruptions through partnerships enhancing critical supply chain resilience vital for national security.

Climate resilience received a boost via investments from acts like IRA & BIL enabling NOAA projects supporting climate adaptation strategies nationwide through funding innovations aiding community-based decision-making processes around climate change impacts.
