Ohio man receives 100-month sentence for methamphetamine trafficking

Stephan G. Ward, a 32-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, has been sentenced to 100 months in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution. The sentencing took place in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Court documents reveal that Ward, also known by the alias "YG," was involved in delivering methamphetamine for further distribution within Marshall County. His criminal history includes previous convictions related to drugs and firearms.

Following his prison term, Ward will be subjected to three years of supervised release. Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid represented the government in this case.

The investigation was conducted by the Marshall County Drug Task Force, which is funded by HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas). U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey oversaw the proceedings.
