U.S. District Judge John W. deGravelles has sentenced Bobby Glenn Wall, Jr., aged 46, from Parchman, Mississippi, to 192 months in federal prison for distribution and receipt of child pornography. Following his imprisonment, Wall Jr. will undergo fifteen years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender.
As part of his guilty plea, Wall Jr. admitted that on December 14, 2021, he used Facebook Messenger on a cell phone at Wilkinson County Jail in Mississippi to transmit five images of child pornography to his father in Denham Springs, Louisiana. These images depicted prepubescent females. He had access to at least 100 such images and sent five to his father's Facebook Messenger account.
His father, Bobby Glenn Wall, aged 68 from Denham Springs, Louisiana, was sentenced to 160 months in federal prison for the same incident involving the distribution and receipt of child pornography. After serving his term, Wall will have five years of supervised release and must also register as a sex offender.
In his guilty plea admissions, Wall acknowledged receiving five images from his son through Facebook Messenger. He encouraged further transmission by telling his son "to keep them coming," subsequently receiving an additional 15 images depicting masturbation and sex acts.
The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security - Homeland Security Investigations and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul L. Pugliese.
