FEMA has announced the termination of four employees for making unauthorized payments to luxury hotels in New York City for migrants. The individuals dismissed include FEMA’s Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts, and a grant specialist.

A spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security stated, "Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s leadership, DHS will not sit idly and allow deep state activists to undermine the will and safety of the American people."

The decision comes as part of an effort to maintain accountability within federal agencies.
