Dylan Hansen Yazzie, a 28-year-old resident of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to the charge of sexual exploitation of a child. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Yazzie admitted to one count involving the use of a child to produce a visual depiction.
The indictment stated that between July and September 2023, Yazzie coerced or induced a minor into sexually explicit conduct for creating visual content intended for transmission in interstate or foreign commerce. This incident took place in McCurtain County within the Choctaw Nation Reservation's boundaries in Eastern Oklahoma.
The investigation leading to these charges was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Broken Bow Police Department.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma accepted Yazzie's plea and has ordered a presentence investigation report. Until sentencing, Yazzie will remain under the custody of the United States Marshals Service.
