Today, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem reported a significant rise in arrests of illegal aliens under President Trump's administration. According to the announcement, over 20,000 individuals were arrested in just one month. This figure represents a 627% increase when compared to the previous year under President Biden, where only 33,000 at-large arrests were recorded for the entire year.
Secretary Noem emphasized the administration's commitment to border security and deportation efforts. She stated: "President Trump and this Administration are saving lives every day because of the actions we are taking to secure the border and deport illegal alien criminals. Hundreds of thousands of criminals were let into this country illegally. We are sending them home, and they will never be allowed to return."
The announcement highlights a stark contrast between current enforcement measures and those from last year.
