Anthony Leroy Haygood, a 36-year-old resident of Sarasota, Florida, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for indecent exposure. United States Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Rateau handed down the sentence last week, consisting of two consecutive six-month terms. These sentences will follow Haygood's previous federal sentences.

Haygood entered a guilty plea on November 20, 2024, to two counts of indecent exposure. The incidents occurred while he was an inmate at the Federal Correctional Complex in Tucson, Arizona. On November 2, 2023, Haygood exposed himself to a correctional officer and responded defiantly when instructed to stop by saying, “I don’t care. I will do it again.” A similar incident took place on January 7, 2024, involving another correctional officer.

The Bureau of Prisons led the investigation into these incidents. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah B. Houston from the District of Arizona in Tucson.
