Malden man admits role in drug trafficking conspiracy involving methamphetamine

Joshua S. Levy, U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts

A Malden resident, Logan Pierre, has admitted guilt in a federal court in Boston for his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy. Pierre, also known as "LO," confessed to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute significant quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine. The U.S. District Court Judge Brian E. Murphy has set the sentencing date for June 5, 2025.

Logan Pierre was indicted alongside his brother Isaiah Pierre in June 2024. However, Isaiah Pierre evaded capture and remains at large.

The investigation into the brothers' alleged drug activities began in late 2023. Authorities discovered that they were reportedly selling methamphetamine within the greater Boston area. Between October 2023 and May 2024, it is claimed that Logan and Isaiah Pierre facilitated the sale of one pound of methamphetamine on five separate occasions under controlled conditions. A search of Logan's residence uncovered an additional kilogram of methamphetamine along with fentanyl and cocaine.

The charges against Logan carry a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years up to life imprisonment, potentially followed by lifetime supervised release and fines reaching $10 million. Sentencing will be determined by a federal district court judge according to U.S. Sentencing Guidelines.

United States Attorney Leah B. Foley; Jodi Cohen from the FBI's Boston Division; Malden Police Chief Glenn Cronin; and Revere Police Chief David Callahan announced these developments today. Assistant U.S. Attorney John T. Dawley is handling the prosecution.

This case falls under Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative aimed at reducing gun violence and violent crime through collaboration between law enforcement agencies and communities nationwide.
