Patricia Johnson, a 47-year-old resident of Memphis, Tennessee, has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison. She was convicted for identity theft and bank fraud, along with violating the terms of her supervised release. Johnson's criminal history spans three decades and includes numerous felony convictions related to theft and fraud, as well as several prior federal identity theft convictions.

On May 16, 2024, Johnson pled guilty to a three-count information in the Western District of Tennessee. The charges included one count of bank fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft. On February 25, 2025, Senior United States District Court Judge John T. Fowlkes Jr. sentenced her to 106 months for the bank fraud and aggravated identity theft charges and an additional 14 months for violating her supervised release from a previous case. Following her imprisonment, she will serve five years under supervised release; there is no parole in the federal system.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the United States Secret Service. Acting U.S. Attorney Fondren expressed gratitude towards Assistant United States Attorney Stephen Hall for prosecuting the case on behalf of the government and acknowledged the efforts of law enforcement partners involved in the investigation.
