The Heritage Foundation has extended its congratulations to Steven G. Bradbury on his confirmation as Deputy Secretary of Transportation. Bradbury's career includes serving as general counsel for the U.S. Department of Transportation during Trump's administration from 2017 to 2021. He also briefly served as Acting Deputy and Secretary of Transportation during that period. His previous roles include Principal Deputy and Acting Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice and litigation partner positions at Kirkland & Ellis and Dechert LLP.
He clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge James L. Buckley after graduating magna cum laude from Michigan Law School.
