Nathan Clair, a 44-year-old resident of Riverside, California, has been sentenced for his involvement in methamphetamine trafficking. Acting United States Attorney Matthew Molsen announced that on March 7, 2025, Clair was sentenced to 151 months in federal prison by Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr., in Omaha, Nebraska. Following his imprisonment, Clair will serve a five-year term of supervised release.

The case began on February 15, 2022, when the DEA Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) intercepted a suspicious package at a U.P.S. store in Omaha. In collaboration with U.P.S. security, it was discovered that the package contained approximately seven pounds of methamphetamine. Undercover CIU agents delivered the package to its intended recipient's address where Michael Bender attempted to collect it and was subsequently arrested. Investigations revealed that Clair had sent the package from California.

Michael Bender received his sentence on March 13, 2023. He was sentenced to 180 months of imprisonment for his role in the drug trafficking operation.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Nebraska State Patrol.
