Air and Marine Operations (AMO), part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, in cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), arrested Marvin Delgado Quinonez, a 23-year-old Guatemalan citizen, on March 13 near Stuart, Florida. Delgado Quinonez was convicted in 2019 for Lewd and Lascivious Battery after impregnating a 12-year-old girl when he was 17 years old.

Delgado Quinonez was taken into custody by AMO Marine Interdiction Agents and ICE agents following a joint investigation. He is currently being held in ICE custody pending an immigration hearing.

"AMO safeguards our Nation by anticipating and confronting security threats through our aviation and maritime law enforcement expertise, innovative capabilities, and partnerships at the border and beyond."

U.S. Customs and Border Protection describes itself as "America's frontline: the nation's largest law enforcement organization and the world's first unified border management agency." The agency's workforce of over 65,000 individuals works to protect America across land, air, and sea while facilitating lawful travel and trade.
