A San Fernando Valley resident, Jose Henry Ayala Casamiro, has been arrested on charges related to the possession of child pornography. The 28-year-old is accused of targeting children for sexual exploitation on behalf of a violent online network called "764."
Ayala was taken into custody by the FBI and appeared in United States District Court in Los Angeles, where he was ordered jailed without bond. His arraignment is set for April 22 in federal court, also in Los Angeles.
United States Attorney Bill Essayli commented on the case, stating, "The facts alleged in this complaint are disturbing. Criminals lurk in the internet’s dark corners to prey on and do lasting damage to children. Let this arrest serve as notice to all online predators. We will find you and arrest you if you hurt children."
Court documents reveal that Ayala allegedly coerced minors into creating child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other harmful videos as part of his involvement with the "764" network. This group is described as a network of nihilistic violent extremists with the objective of accelerating societal collapse. They reportedly exploit vulnerable populations, including minors, to achieve their goals.
The affidavit details specific allegations against Ayala, including blackmailing underage girls into making degrading and sadistic videos and encouraging them to self-harm. A particular incident cited a March 2020 photo showing an individual with Ayala’s name carved into their forearm. The complaint mentions Ayala’s involvement in a new server aimed at grooming underage girls.
The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force is leading the investigation. Prosecutors involved in the case include Assistant United States Attorneys Amanda Elbogen and David Ryan, as well as Trial Attorneys Justin Sher and James Donnelly from the National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section.
