Secretary of the Treasury Scott K.H. Bessent is scheduled to visit Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 14. During his visit, he will meet with both government officials and business leaders to express the United States' support for Argentina's economic reforms.
While in Argentina, Secretary Bessent plans to meet with President Javier Milei and the Minister of Economy Luis Caputo. He will also engage with other members of the government and the country's business community.
President Javier Milei's administration is recognized for focusing on achieving policy results through actions. President Donald J. Trump has acknowledged President Milei's efforts in revitalizing Argentina's economy. In his meetings, Secretary Bessent will emphasize the United States' support for President Milei's economic policies and will encourage international backing for these reforms.
