The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has announced Elizabeth Ranno as its new Senior Vice President of Education & Events. Starting her new role on May 5, Ranno will focus on enhancing member engagement through high-quality educational experiences and events.
Elizabeth Ranno comes from RealPage, a property management software provider, where she was Vice President of Product Management. During her time there, she developed product vision and strategy for a business unit valued at $304 million, resulting in revenue growth.
NAR CEO Nykia Wright highlighted Ranno's potential contribution: "Elizabeth offers a rare and extremely valuable combination of in-depth knowledge of the real estate industry, a passion for education and training, and a sharp business acumen. She not only understands how to create content that resonates with our members, but she also knows how to build sustainable revenue streams to support long-term growth. We're excited for her to lead the next chapter of innovation in our education and events programming."
Previously, Ranno worked at LEAP Innovations, a Chicago-based nonprofit, where she was instrumental in launching a tech-enabled education content suite. She also redesigned the organization’s business model to enhance revenue generation, decreasing reliance on donations.
Ranno's past experience also includes leadership roles such as Vice President of Product Management for ISACA, an IT governance association; Vice President of Product and Planning for the American Health Information Management Association; and Chief Product Officer at the Professional Education Institute's Real Estate Education and Training Events unit.
Reflecting on her career, Ranno stated, "I've spent my career at the intersection of real estate, technology, and education—building tools and experiences that empower professionals to thrive in a constantly evolving market. I'm excited to bring that passion to NAR and help deliver learning opportunities and events that are more engaging, practical and valuable for our members."
