U.S. Attorney seeks victims in iCare Gifting Solutions fraud case

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Syracuse, New York, is seeking additional victims in the case against Robert Rahlre. Rahlre pled guilty earlier this year to charges of tax evasion and wire fraud. His sentencing is scheduled for June 11, 2025, before Senior United States District Judge Glenn T. Suddaby.

Rahrle admitted to operating a fraudulent online gift basket business called iCare Gifting Solutions LLC from 2017 to 2024. The company claimed to provide care packages for families of incarcerated individuals but failed to deliver the promised products despite charging customers approximately $50 per gift basket.

Victims of this scheme are entitled to request restitution for their financial losses. Those affected are encouraged to submit statements about the impact of the crime and requests for restitution by June 6. Documentation of purchases from iCare Gifting Solutions must be provided.

Further details can be found on the Victim Witness Assistance page of the U.S. Attorney’s Office website.
