Buffalo man charged with intent to distribute methamphetamine

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced the arrest of Demetrius Parker, a 43-year-old resident of Buffalo, New York. Parker faces charges for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, which could result in a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas M. Testani, who is overseeing the case, detailed that on May 28, 2025, investigators carried out search warrants at two locations: one in Buffalo and another in Cheektowaga. A search was also conducted on Parker's vehicle. The searches yielded 124 grams of suspected cocaine, 86 grams of methamphetamine, and 50 grams of suspected fentanyl. Additionally, authorities seized $1,762 in cash, a loaded magazine, a Digital Video Recording (DVR) system, drug paraphernalia, a gold necklace with diamonds, and three cellular phones.

Parker appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge H. Kenneth Schroeder Jr., where he was detained following his initial court appearance.

The investigation leading to Parker's arrest involved efforts by the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia and the Erie County Sheriff’s Office led by Sheriff John Garcia.
