Milwaukee woman sentenced to 15 years for producing child pornography

On June 3, 2025, Chasity Evans was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for her involvement in the production of child sexual abuse material. The sentencing was announced by Richard G. Frohling, Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman presided over the case.

Evans, aged 38 and a resident of both Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Ripley, Tennessee, violated Title 18 of the United States Code, Sections 2251(a), 2251(e), and 2(a). Court records revealed that Evans created child pornography using a minor child and distributed it to her co-defendant via cell phone. This exchange involved nominal sums of money transferred through Cash App. The criminal activities took place multiple times between February and June 2023 while Evans lived in Milwaukee and Memphis.

In addition to her prison sentence, Evans will serve five years on supervised release and must register as a sex offender under state and federal law.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation's field offices in Milwaukee and Memphis conducted the investigation with help from the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Abbey M. Marzick prosecuted the case.
