U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins has signed the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report, which is prepared monthly by the World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB). This report offers annual forecasts for supply and use of U.S. and global wheat, rice, coarse grains, oilseeds, and cotton.
"American agriculture leads the world and the agricultural industry relies on the gold standard statistics and analysis in USDA reports," said Secretary Rollins. "It is a privilege to sign this critical market report put together by the expert researchers and market analysts at USDA who work tirelessly to give farmers the data they need to anticipate how American goods will be exported with the world."
In addition to signing the WASDE report, Secretary Rollins has reinstated two important reports that were previously canceled: the July Cattle Report and County Estimates for Crops and Livestock including corn, cotton, peanuts, rice, sorghum, and soybeans. These reports are essential for farmers and ranchers as they provide crucial data needed for operational decision-making.
