The session, titled "The Route Forward for the U.S. Postal Service: A View from Stakeholders," will focus on the implementation of the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act and assess the progress and impact of the Delivering for America Plan.

Chairman Sessions emphasized the importance of USPS, stating, "For nearly 250 years, the United States Postal Service has delivered essential mail to businesses and households across the nation. Whether in rural communities or cities, all Americans depend on this vital institution, and we are committed to ensuring it continues to serve the public effectively." He noted that recent reforms have addressed financial burdens and increased accountability within USPS.

Witnesses include Paul Steidler from Lexington Institute; Jim Cochrane from Package Shippers Association; Mike Plunkett from Association for Postal Commerce; Thomas Schatz from Citizens Against Government Waste; and Elena Spatoulas Patel from The Brookings Institution.
