The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has expressed approval for the Senate's newly released tax reform proposal. Neil Bradley, Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer of the Chamber, praised the development as a significant advancement in President Trump's pro-growth tax agenda.

"The tax bill text released today by the Senate represents another significant step forward in advancing President Trump’s pro-growth tax agenda," Bradley said. He commended Chairman Mike Crapo and other lawmakers for their efforts to make permanent the provisions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which he noted have been crucial for economic growth.

Bradley highlighted that the Senate's proposal aims to enhance the competitiveness of the U.S. tax system, encouraging investment and innovation. "We will continue to engage with lawmakers and the administration to achieve consensus for a permanent, pro-growth tax code, and we look forward to seeing this effort through to the finish line," he added.

The Chamber also acknowledged last month's House passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Over the past year, it has actively advocated for pro-growth tax policies, emphasizing benefits from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for businesses and workers.

A survey by McLaughlin & Associates for the Chamber indicated that most voters support making tax relief permanent, with many more likely to support candidates who advocate for such measures. The Chamber has collaborated with state and local chambers nationwide, hosting over two dozen roundtables with lawmakers and businesses to discuss extending these tax provisions.
