Senate HELP Committee reviews education and labor nominations

Today, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is set to vote on several nominations within the Department of Education, the Department of Labor, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The agenda includes the nomination of Penny Schwinn for Deputy Secretary of Education and Kimberly Richey for Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the Department of Education. The Department of Labor has several nominations: Daniel Aronowitz for Assistant Secretary for the Employee Benefits Security Administration, David Keeling for Assistant Secretary for Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Jonathan Berry for Solicitor, Andrew Rogers for Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division, Anthony D’Esposito for Inspector General, and Jeremiah Workman for Assistant Secretary for Veterans’ Employment and Training. Additionally, Andrea Lucas is nominated to serve as a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
