Gloria Merina Wass, a 64-year-old resident of Hudson, Wyoming, received a sentence of time served and will undergo supervised release for three years for distributing methamphetamine. Court documents reveal that on October 28, 2024, Wass sold methamphetamine to an undercover law enforcement agent and agreed to future sales. The investigation was conducted by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy W. Gist prosecuted the case. Wass was indicted on January 15, 2025, and entered a guilty plea on March 3, 2025. U.S. District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl handed down the sentence in Casper on July 1, 2025.
In another case, Isauro Enriquez-Rios from Chihuahua, Mexico, aged 39, was sentenced to time served and will be deported due to illegal reentry into the United States. According to court records, Enriquez-Rios was arrested for a traffic-related offense in Casper on May 6, 2025. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) discovered he had previously been removed from the U.S. without applying for permission to reenter after his formal removal in January 2011. ICE conducted the investigation while Assistant U.S. Attorney Cameron J. Cook prosecuted the case. Judge Scott W. Skavdahl imposed this sentence in Cheyenne on July 2, 2025.
