U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who chairs the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, is set to lead a nominations hearing for key positions within the Department of Transportation. The hearing will take place at 10:00 AM EST on July 16, 2025.
The nominees include Mr. Derek Barrs from Florida for Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Mr. Jonathan Morrison from California for Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and Mr. Paul Roberti from Rhode Island for Administrator of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
