A Lynn man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for his involvement in a large-scale drug trafficking organization on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Deiby Felix, 41, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Patti B. Saris and will also serve five years of supervised release following his prison term.
Felix pleaded guilty in February 2025 to charges including possession with intent to manufacture and distribute significant quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as possession of a firearm related to drug trafficking. His arrest, along with Emilio Garcia and Sebastien Bejin, occurred in November 2023 after an investigation linked them to a drug trafficking organization.
The investigation began in July 2023 following an overdose death in Salem. It led authorities to conduct searches at four locations in Lynn on November 1, 2023. These searches resulted in one of the largest seizures of fentanyl and methamphetamine ever recorded in Massachusetts. Among the items seized were nine kilograms of pink heart-shaped fentanyl-laced pills designed to resemble candy, additional narcotics, firearms, cocaine, cutting agents like xylazine, industrial pill presses, mixing equipment, and other manufacturing paraphernalia.
In total, approximately eight million doses of fentanyl and methamphetamine-laced pills were confiscated with an estimated street value exceeding $8 million.
Co-defendants Bejin and Garcia received sentences earlier this year; Bejin was sentenced to 12 years while Garcia received an 18-year sentence.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley alongside Ted E. Docks from the FBI Boston office; Colonel Geoffrey D. Noble from the Massachusetts State Police; Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker; with assistance from local police departments and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Philip A. Mallard prosecuted the case.
