MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Todd Philip Wilkerson, a 53-year-old resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse in Indian Country. This charge carries a potential sentence of life imprisonment and a fine of up to $250,000.
According to the indictment, on March 26, 2025, Wilkerson engaged in sexual contact with a victim who was unable to appraise the nature of the conduct or communicate unwillingness. The incident took place in Carter County within the Chickasaw Nation Reservation in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department, and the Ardmore Police Department. U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson accepted Wilkerson's plea and ordered a presentence investigation report.
A U.S. District Court Judge will decide on Wilkerson's sentence after reviewing U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Until then, he will remain in custody under the United States Marshals Service.
